10 Kitchen Accessories to Add Warmth and Style to Your Home

Being a work from home mom I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Whether I’m cooking, cleaning, or just hanging out with Daniel and the kids, the kitchen gets more use than the rest of our house. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite kitchen items, ranging from decor to appliances and everything in between.

First on my list is one of our most used items these last few months. I found these glass iced coffee cups on Amazon and love the look of them! We display them on our open shelf in our kitchen. Something about them makes my coffee taste just a little bit better. I always use my Nespresso machine to make our coffees with. Right now we’re loving iced honey lattes with oat milk or a hot chai with the Trader Joe’s chai tea powder mix, so good!

We recently replaced all of our pots and pans with this beige set. I’ve had a few different pans from Caraway but was not a fan. These new pans are on the cheaper side but are also made with cleaner ingredients. I love the way they look and they are super easy to clean which is always a plus.

Like I mentioned before, we’ve been trying to switch our household to cleaner/safe items. We’ve been ditching silicone and plastics for more natural options, wood being one of them. I love the way this teak utensil set looks sitting out on on the counter.

I bought this little glass simmer pot for my stovetop potpourri this past holiday season. I keep it out on my stove as a decoration now. It also makes for a cute serving dish as well.

A few years ago my mom got me my kitchen aid mixer for Christmas! It was something I’ve always wanted and it’s been a staple in my kitchen ever since. I got the frosted pearl color with a glass bowl so even when I’m not using it I leave it out since it’s so beautiful. 

We’re currently remodeling our kitchen and I bought this little gold hook rack for over our stove and dinner bell as accessories. They had a nice touch of warmth to the space.

This next item isn’t “aesthetically pleasing” but is definitely a must in our household. Having an under sink water filter is so so nice and a big relief. This one is reasonably priced and really easy to install.

Finally, and definitely our most used item is our gold silverware set. We’ve had this for a couple years and it’s held up great. I love the elevated feel it adds to our meals. Isla always asks for a "fancy fork".
